Policy Statements
Valid legal process required before disclosure, except documented imminent-risk-to-life emergencies. Users notified of requests unless prohibited by law or a valid non-disclosure order. Legal reviews requests for jurisdictional validity and proportionality.
Responsibilities
Legal owns request review; Government Requests team manages intake and response.
Compliance Requirements
Aggregate request statistics published in the annual Transparency Report.
Enforcement
Requests lacking valid legal process are rejected.
